I went to this concert, just turned 13. Didn't know a lot of their material except the real popular songs.

as a certified OF myself I've been thinking a lot about what was different in the way back machine, what was better, what was worse, etc. Some good discussion maybe.

One key component in those days was everything was new. There was never anything like Hendrix before then, never anything like Zep, etc. Sure, we know their roots and what they evolved from. But as a look and sound so many things then were totally and absolutely like nothing ever seen or heard before. Today there is plenty of good new stuff but the challenge of creating something new only grows more difficult.
