Re-watched Thank You For Smoking the other day.
Was delighted to find a song in the closing credits I'd never heard before.
The Kingston Trio - 'Greenback Dollar'
Just tonight I got turned on to both Ryan Adams and Alt-J on Later With Jules Holland. And also a band called Jungle that might be worth taking a closer listen to.
And somehow, despite considering myself to be fairly knowledgeable in 60s rock and roll, I had never really heard of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band until I saw their induction in the HOF on HBO a couple weeks back. Holy shite, they kicked some major arse back in the day.
