43 years ago tonight at the brand new Riverside Centroplex. The 1st rock show in the new venue. What an unbelievable spectacle for a 17 year old wide eyed boy. I met a gal from Independence on this night. Piper was the warm up band.

A Beaver production!

Many of the concerts of that era in Shreveport were also by Beaver. Was it like one guy who was a regional promoter, or was it a big operation? Any old Beaver employees around?

Tough memory for this 13 year old kiss army member. Grew up in Shreveport. Had two best friends. One best friends parents got tickets to the concert and the parents asked the other friend. They all drove down for this concert in Baton Rouge. Worst part - December 27th is my birthday. Was so bummed.

They were nearing the height of their power then. Ten year old me would’ve given a lot of things of value to have been there. Alas, never got the chance.

Love Gun/Alive II tour. I was there. I was 11 years old and a friend's older brothers took us. I am surprised my parents allowed it but this was at the peak of Kissteria and I was a full fledged Kiss freak and soldier in the Kiss Army...there was no way I would miss it.

I saw them at the Warehouse in NOLA that same year during the Alive Tour. We were what seemed like only about 10 feet from them and the confetti cannons on the edge of the small stage blew my ear drums out at the end of the show.

ETA It would have been March12, 1976 per the Warehouse website as that is the only time they played there and I was definitely there

Saw em a year or two later at Miss. Gulf Coast Col. Girl I was dating father was a colesium worker in Tenn. She had a back stage pass and got to meet all of the band members as well as Cher if I remember correct. Never was a Kiss fan but wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I’m guessing it was at least a big regional operation since they also did shows in Houston in the 80s

Did anyone see the Kiss 2020 Dubai pre-concert special, there’s a guy who’s in charge of part of the production wearing an LSU 2019 No 1 shirt.

Trying to figure out if anyone knows him and what’s his connection to LSU
