Jet - What happened to them ?
Their 1st album was chock full of hits.
Good vocals and great guitar hooks. Their 2nd album was pretty dang good as well.
Then they completely drop off the music universe. What happened ?

Their Wikipedia page says there could be new music in '23:
At the end of 2022, Nic was interviewed on a podcast and revealed the band was in talks to reunite in the studio. “Next year is the 20 year anniversary of the release of the first Jet album. We’re actually in discussions right now, sharing musical ideas for the first time with the idea of maybe trying to release some new material next year. This is just as of 3 weeks ago, so we’ll see if it happens or not. It’s looking good so far.”

I actually really liked the second album.
They played in BR at “X-Fest” with The Killers, AFI, Pappa Roach, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Saosin and I thought they were the best of them all live.

Damn, I don't remember that fest and I've been in BR for a while.
I saw Jet probably around 2008 at the Varsity. Thin crowd but they put on a good show. I always enjoyed their rock.
I do agree they seemed to be on top of the alt rock world then one day you never heard from them again.
