I was raised on JJW's music and I've always wanted to see him at Gruene hall. This past weekend I got to make that dream a reality. Gruene Hall absolutely lived up to its reputation. The crowds were rowdy but friendly, the beers were cold, and the ambience was amazing. People dancing in the aisles and on benches, bare bulbs in random places to light the place, ceiling fans to keep it cool. Jerry Jeff put on the 2 best shows I've seen him perform and I've probably seen him a dozen plus times. Any true country music fans have to see a show there at some point in their lives. It truly is a special, bucket list kind of place for any real country music fan. I can't wait to go back.

JJW has put on a great show everytime I've seen him dating back to the first time at the Red River Revel in S'port circa 1991.

I'd love to see him at Gruene Hall or maybe Belize one day before he gives it up.

I've never been to a bad Jerry Jeff show either, but these were really special to me. I'd love to make it to Belize as well, but I don't know how much longer he'll be at it.

I've seen JJW at Gruene Hall before. Special experience. If you don't derive joy from seeing that guy live, then you just don't want to be happy.
