I'll bet Ozzy and Keith Richards are furiously smearing lambs blood on their door jambs.

I think he's preserved himself. Probably just the right mix of chemicals no one will ever duplicate.

You do know that when Keith dies, the apocalypse starts?

When KR dies, they won't have to embalm him. He's already taken care of that.

Really, really one of the greats of the rock scene. Paul was always very political in his music writing. One of my early heroes!!!

Some Katner credited music,

Today This song is criminally under appreciated.

January 28th was not a good day for The Jefferson Airplane

jormakaukonen.com
quote:

We were just checking into the hotel in Santa Monica this afternoon… I’ve got a solo gig at McCabe's Music Shop tonight… I got a call from Grace [Slick] who told me that Signe [Anderson], the Airplane’s first female voice, passed on the same day as Paul.

Signe was one of the strongest people I have ever met. She was our den mother in the early days of the Airplane… a voice of reason on more occasions than one… an important member of our dysfunctional little family. I always looked forward to seeing her when we played the Aladdin in Portland. She never complained and was always a joy.

Flights of angels sing thee to thy rest sister…

You will always live in my heart…

One sweet Lady has passed on. I imagine that she and Paul woke up in heaven and said "Hey what are you doing here? Let's start a band"

The Jefferson Airplane, 1966: Signe Anderson, Jack Casady, Marty Balin, Skip Spence (original drummer, left to become a guitarist in Moby Grape; died 1999), Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen.

"I want you all to wear smiles and daisies and box balloons. I love you all. Thank you and goodbye."

- Signe Anderson (Sept 15, 1941 - Jan 28, 2016) words to Fillmore crowd upon her departure from Jefferson Airplane, October 15, 1966.
