Greg Stafford and the Jazz hounds was very chill and exciting at the same time. He's a great entertainer. Packed house toward the end. I high recommend seeing them live.

Treme Brass band was on fire at Economy Hall. Shamarr Allen is a hell of an entertainer. These guys get better and better every time I see them live. I have a hard time leaving the Economy Hall tent since any/all acts they book there are so good.

Delfeayo Marsalis closing out the Jazz Tent today was awesome as well. He wore a super obnoxiously stylish blazer jacket to honor Allen Toussaint. They played Basin Street blues in his honor as well. Classy bunch of musicians right there.

Any and all cuban music I heard today was awesome too. Perhaps I can't differnetiate good from bad, but I really like that JF brought in that tent this year.

Anyone else see anything worth mentioning?

See you guys out there tomorrow.

Glad you had a great music day...

I am skipping tomorrow. I know I will sound like an old fart here, but I just don't feel like getting soaked. Hopefully the rain will hold off for you, but I am outside now and the strong winds are saying otherwise!

Enjoy
