Meh, I've never been a big Wayne fan, but he was so much better then than now. I hate his new stuff.

GTFO with that thoughtless dismissal. He was killing it in that time frame. I'm not saying he's the best now, because he's not, but he was at the top of the game for years. Haters gonna hate.

Lil' Wayne 2004-2007 is one of the best stretches in rap history IMO.

Definitely.
Dedication II is a top 10 mix tape all time, and I'm not even a lil Wayne fan.

I like Drought 2 more than Dedication 2, but they both have tracks in my top 25 most played. It's a 1a 1b conversation TBH

ETA:

If the original Carter 3 wouldn't have leaked he would be regarded even higher IMO. This is still a mixtape I put on once a week.

Drought II was good too. I just prefer Dedication II, but it's what and what.

I'd agree dude was running the mixtape game for 4 or 5 years. Dude was putting out classics like no other.

Dedication 4 drops August 15th

Yea I wish Carter 3 never leaked. I Feel Like Dying is on of my favorite Wayne songs.

Literally the only piece of news I got off of facebook in the past month that I care about. D3 had too many features, but he said from the get go that he wanted to feature the Young Money crew on it. I'm hoping he goes back to his prime on D4. I'm keeping an optimistic outlook

Yea I agree. I listened to his interview with DJ Drama and he said it was all mixtape Weezy on D4 I hope he shuts the hell up about skating and trukfit. Said he rapped over "I Don't Like", "Cashin Out" and "Burn".

I met Kidd Kidd earlier this evening at the winn dixie in Algiers. Nobody else recognized him except for me sat there and shot the shite while waiting to check out.

For those that probably don't know him he's fairly popular in Nola. He was with young money and Lil Wayne and had been rapping with Wayne since the early 2000's. He's now signed with 50 cent and g unit fwiw.
