My son is asst. program director at KANM (Aggie College Radio--yes, he grew up sitting in my seats in Tiger Stadium wearing purple and gold, but now is at TAMU). Last year his program director arranged a phone interview with the following rock gods for a spot he did called "KANM's Legends of Rock Panel".

Featured were the following (not too shabby a lineup):

Geddy Lee: Bassist, Keyboardist, and Lead Vocalist of Rush
Rick Wakeman: Keyboardist, Yes
Ritchie Blackmore: Guitarist, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Blackmore’s Night
David Gilmour: Guitarist, Pink Floyd
Greg Lake: Guitarist, Bassist, and Vocalist, King Crimson, ELP
Tony Iommi: Guitarist, Black Sabbath

My son reached out for possible questions as my family is full of musicians, and the interviewer actually used a few.

Enjoy. Here's the transcript: "Classic Rock Never Gets Old"

None that I know of. I'll try to find out.

Who is "Tony" in that interview. He's not listed.

ETA: NM, I see Black Sabbath

And that was really cool that your son got to speak to all of those guys at once. You must be pretty damn proud / jealous.

Crap...left that one off the first list!

Yes, it's Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath. My older brother, a very accomplished guitarist, sent in the question about Drop D tuning just for him.

Pretty cool! Glad he had the opportunity to do this...these guys are dropping like flies now--they won't be around much longer for cool interviews.
