Ha! That's true, but it was more the stress from the game that got to me.

Yikes! We bought a house with a pool last year, so my beer consumption skyrockets in the summer.

Dayum pool would be killer to have. I went to my old apt complex's pool last year to do that

The other day I came across some pictures of us from Sasha and Digweed at HOB, which, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't recall being one of your shows. A bunch of us from the disco forum were there joining you in raising a shoe up in the air toward the end of their set.

Incredible show, especially the part with the shoes. I had never seen that before.

We probably know each other, or have at least met at some point. I was a mainstay on the "rorum" from '99 until probably 5yrs ago or so.

Yeah, it was hard to keep-up for a while, being out of the circuit and whatnot, but Spotify & Pandora have made it pretty easy to get back into the groove.

Lately, I've been jamming to Dom & Roland's latest album (dude's sound hasn't changed since he started - love it), and BSE's "Variations on Black".

Got any good suggestions?

I mostly download live sets, studio mixes, and radio shows from tribal mixes and dnbtracker.

Cyantific and Drumsound n Bass line Smith have been killing it. Style is a lot like Andy C. Double drops, teasing, and will go from really heavy to light and back to heavy again.

I'll link some stuff a little later when I get on my computer

Word. Yeah, I had heard good thing about Simon BL Smith's recent stuff. Oh, Gridlock's been doin' work, too. I don't know if you remember Rom (Dave), but he's been linking a lot of Gridlock on FB lately.

I usually just put on a BSE Pandora station or something and rock the frick out.

Here are a few that get pretty regular play in the car. If you arent familiar with tribal mixes, just click on the link and the red arrow is the download button. Its a very good torrent site. You might have to sign up but its quick and free.

Drumsound-and-Bassline-Smith-Essential-Mix-09-22-2012 - This mix got me pretty much hooked on these guys.
Here is another mix from them
MistaJam-1Xtra-Daily-Dose-14-mar-2013
another
Exclusive-Annie-Nightingale-Mix-20-sep-2013

Andy C - The middle part of the set is typical Andy C, greatness. Hackney-Weekend-2012-Andy-C-Live-SAT-06-23-2012-

Cyantific- here are a few mixes from him. Saw him play in the basement of a bar years ago in NYC and he killed it. Been following him ever since.

I'm sure we have some mutual friends. Did you also go to any of the parties at the Plantation Inn and Entertainment Complex here in BR?

I'll have to check out tribal mixes. Thanks for that info. I used to get my mixes from a website that zealot told me about but they stopped updating their site a while back.

That was my show. I told Sasha that if people put their shoes in the air in New Orleans that it was a sign of respect. Unfortunately or fortunately, it never really took off after that night though. Send me those pictures please.

Speaking of that show, just found my old ticket for it. and a bunch of others. lol i dont know why i have andy c's autograph on a freakfest flyer. didnt he reschedule and do the show on 4/20 one year? I think he cancelled last minute and Dylan filled his spot on the mainfloor. Was one of the few times the main room had dnb and dylan destroyed.

Pretty sure Bailey played NYE on the main floor also.

Got a bunch more but some are faded as hell. Now I gotta find my old flyers

Its a really good site. All genres on there for the most part. Just make sure to leave your torrent downloader open and keep your ratio somewhat as a nonleecher. They will ban you if your ratio gets real bad.

Plantation Inn - yes, several. Entertainment Complex - Is that the former Chi-Chi's on Florida? If so, yes. Also went to a few at the Belmont.
