Rocky George from Suicidal Tendencies, well respected among 80s metal fans but mostly unknown by more casual fans. He's not in the same class as Mustaine or Hanneman but still pretty good.

Terrance Hobbs from Suffocation. Not too many black guys in the 80s death metal scene. Hobbs is the only original member still touring with them today. Suffocation's drummer was also black.

This dude should've gotten more attention, but he's had a nice career. Saw him a couple times in Nashtenny.

yeah my dad loves keb. personally, i could never get into the music, but he plays very well

I posted it on both in order to expose more people to some great music and make some discoveries they've never made before. no one seemed to have a problem with it but you. why does it bother you so much?

Where's Jesse Johnson from The Time? That dude's one of the underchampioned guitarists in history and still plays blistering lead in DeAngelo's live band. Incredible talent and can play a variety of styles as well.
