Doobie bros if with Skunk Baxter pre Micheal McDonald. Saw them 4 times, once in Tiger Stadium.
Grand Funk second, great show blew the doors off Slicks in St. Martinville back in the day.

Saw Grand Funk in '73 and opening act was Brownsville Station (Smoking in the Boys Room).

Saw Doobie Brothers when they first came up. Man, that was a tight band. Absolutely great in concert.
But since I didn't get to see Traffic live, that would be my choice.

I "know" Traffic was the better band, but I "feel" I'd like to see GFR more. If that makes sense.
