then after a few songs he literally walks off the stage and doesn't come back. He also might start an hour late a he likes to go play at the casino.

DAC pulled that stunt years ago in Bogalusa, La.. The Bogalusa Police Dept. booked him at a bingo hall in Bogalusa as a fundraiser for the police dept.. I was hired to provide the sound and lighting system. He arrived over an hour late for setup and soundcheck. During sound check his band was over 126 DB C weight with just their stage gear volume. During soundcheck, I mentioned to the band that the crowd would definitely not want it that loud. Anyway, the show started and the volume was earsplitting loud with no instruments being amplified in the sound system. Only vocals were being run through the system. I was asked to turn it down and told the officials that it was the bands stage volume that was cranked up and not my system as I was amplifying only the vocals. After several requests from the police chief to the band to turn down, DAC got pissed and walked off the stage, went to his bus, and did not return. His contract was for a 70 minute show but he only played 45 minutes. His fee was $7000.00($100.00 per minute). The cops and crowd were pissed. The cops surrounded his bus with cop cars. After a 15 to 20 minute converstaion between the cops and DAC, DAC agreed to return for a repeat show at a later date for free. The second show went well.
