You could start with what you have already on the list.

You're right, stupid question. If you were at the beach on July 4th, what's the one song or whole album you would insist on listening to?

I don't know, but I was at the beach last week and never realized what a beach jam Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street is.

I have an exceptional beach playlist. I will bookmark this and post its contents tomorrow morning. You will not be disappointed.

Quick review:

"Dude awesome playlist." - my a-hole friend from college

Edit: here you go

Yeah there are some cliche songs on there, but I made it for it to be overall enjoyed by most people in a beach setting. Hope you like it.

That's pretty similar to my beach playlist if you take out Buffett and James Taylor. Sorry, I have an irrational hatred for both, and it's my playlist so I can choose to leave them off.

I throw a little wierdness(at least according to my brother in law) with some Depeche Mode and Phish. And I've got a good deal of 80's and 90's country on there as well.

Don't worry I am not a big James Taylor fan or really like Buffet all that much. This playlist is meant to please the masses. There would surely be people bitching about no JB.

Edit: also fricking can't stand jack Johnson

I know for a fact I won't be able to escape "Sweet Home Alabama" over and over and over here in Gulf shores.

Duran Duran always seems to work well for summer stuff. Especially the Rio album.
