30th anniversary tour = 30 song sets. No opener.
American dates TBA.
Man I love this band. Obviously Page still loves being onstage for the fans. That Betty show was 28 or 29 straight songs. What a treat! Can’t wait for this one. Hope I’m lucky enough to catch it somewhere.

Any chance the OG lineup (or as close as 92-93-94) can get back together for this?

Haha. That thought had crossed my mind. I think the split was pretty acrimonious at times, although it was a long time ago. I’m not sure Page would do that to the current lineup either. He seems very comfortable with them onstage and these guys have paid their dues with him for a long time now. This lineup has been together for quite awhile longer than the classic lineup was if I’m not mistaken.
I would love to see Stanier on the drums again but his absence doesn’t spoil it for me. Stevenson is damn adequate and Page is Helmet without a doubt.

Saw Helmet open for Primus in 1995...one of my all time favorite concerts, even though I got beaned in the head with a bottle when people started throwing shite at Primus.

Well I guess I did get lucky. No Jacksonville dates, which there have been on their last four tours, but it so happens I’m in Dallas for work. I’ll be at Trees tonight. Can’t fricking wait.
