I'd go with either

Take Me Away
Spinal Meningitis
Freedom of '76

or

A Tear for Eddie
Roses Are Free
Baby Bitch

eta: I do love those versions of Pollo Asado and especially Tried and True from that album. I think the original Reggaejunkiejew is better though.

Final three songs:

"I Saw Her"

"Teenage Confidential"

I'm going off Teenage Head. Each one gets better and better:

Good choices

But for a three-fer on C&C, I'd go with Buenos Tardes Amigo, The HIV Song, and What Deaner was Talking About

I would go with..

8. Made of Stone
9. Shoot You Down
10. This is the One

That great thing about that record... is you can just about post and 3 songs anywhere in the track listing and be good...

I never gave Stone Roses a chance...

I am digging this I Wanna be Adored.

Anyone wanna recommend an album by them to start out with?

The first one - Stone Roses... That is the definitive one (Top 10 of all time)

The only other one is Second Coming, which is very hit and miss...

They have various collections of singles that are very good... Sally Cinnamon is as good a song that they made, but it wasnt on a proper record...

I prefer power pop to boogie, so Shake Some Action is my favorite Flamin' Groovies album. It's probably in my all time top 10. It may not be as emotionally ambitious as, say, Big Star's first album, but pretty much everything it sets out to do, it accomplishes.
