Gotta give some love to a hometown band from Mobile. These two were popular back in the day but you don't hear them much anymore:

Maybe underrated was the wrong word but I feel like they're under appreciated. I'm not downplaying their relevance back in the day, but I feel like they're kind of forgotten today. Almost like they fell out of memory when people name the great rock bands of the 80s.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they're "forgotten" as they are still played often on the radio. I would however say they are undervalued/underappreciated and in that sense I agree with you.

They did get lost, and rightfully so, but their music has definite staying power. Some of it.
Candy O was way out there for it´s time, and IMO, it´s turned out to be their best album.
It went downhill after Panorama, which had some good tunes, and again, was out there, for the most part.
