Which is better? Can more than one user use google music at one time?

This debate comes up a lot. Both sides will claim superiority.

They have similar features I believe. I'd suggest just doing a month of each and seeing which format you like better.

I'm all-spotify because I think they have the best UI and it is a lot easier to use.

I'm a Spotify guy myself. $15/mo for me and the missus to listen to (pretty much) whatever I want whenever I want is a deal we haven't found better anywhere else.

I have not tried Google Music. Isn't it limited to the music you already own?

Apple Music is garbage. It wants to be like Spotify, but the ui is an absolute disaster.

Google does the same. $15 for family, $8 for individual.

I use Google because I got in at the $7/month rate, but Spotify is great too.

Spotify still has the edge IMO.

The ability to slide songs into playlists or organize folders along with the social and discovery aspect is still unmatched.

I'm a fan of most things google and they could catch up, but for now Spotify has them beat in the music streaming service.

I'll stick with spotify, then. $2 is pretty negligible. I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of re-organizing my music

So anybody have some good Spotify playlists for me to follow?

I've been using Spotify on the PS4 while playing games and need some more to follow. Here's what I'm working with:

50Picks: Wilco
25Picks: Jackie Greene
25Picks: Lyrics Born
25Picks: The Revivalists
25Picks: Keller Williams
25Picks: ALO

I use Spotify. Best $9/month I spend. I don't have to deal with stupid mainstream radio.

It's a game changer for me. I'm a more casual player, so I'm not really on games that I need the sound for -- right now, almost exclusively Rocket League.

...Now I need to just stop being cheap and upgrade to premium.

I was Google music for a good while until my credit card expired and I forgot to update it. I took that time to try a trial of Spotify and haven't looked back since. I much prefer the UI of Spotify and especially enjoy their discovery section to find new music. Their weekly discovery Playlist that is custom based on your listening history is on point, imo. I'm sure Google music has continued to make improvements over the last 3 or 4 months but at this point I'm all in for Spotify.

Pulse of Americana (or something like that) is pretty legit.
