The song by the band Genesis, "No Son of Mine" from their album We Can't Dance (1991) has always been one of my favorite songs from them. It's a haunting song about the troubled relationship between a father and son, and the song is very emotional. Fans of the 70's era Genesis probably wouldn't be too fond of this era of their work, but this song's greatness can't be denied, it has to be one of their Top 10 best songs.
Here's a link to the song:

This is not going to be a popular opinion on this board, but I've always preferred post-Gabriel Genesis.
They are one of the few bands that I prefer more as a borderline pop/mainstream band rather than a progressive group.

I'm with you saint amant steve, I love their later work, they can play mainstream music just as well as they can play progressive, and they crafted some awesome tunes that still endure to this day. Gotta love Phil Collins' solo work as well!

Damn.... I was listening to Genesis this morning after I watched the documentary 'The Sum of All Parts' Sunday. The We Can't Dance album is pretty solid from start to finish. I think there are couple of songs on there that older Genesis fans would like: 'Fading Lights' and 'Driving The Last Spike'.
