We went to the first show last night....Awesome show! He played all the hits and only one or two new songs, but they were good as well. Trisha was really good also.

Before he sang Calling Baton Rouge, he said it was his favorite song to perform and would play it 2 or 3 times a night if he could. Also the lights on the stage and around the stadium were purple and gold while he played it

I had absolute last row in the nosebleed seats and the crew came by and gave us 3rd row tickets. Hadn't really listened to him in years and its amazing how you still know every song he plays. Even without being right up front, it was one of the best shows and set lists I've ever seen.

He most definitely did! Didn't start till 1120 bc of the 730 crowd exit and 1030 show entry. He played till 2am. 17 years worth the wait. Seeing him next Friday at the 730 so I'll be able to compare both shows.

Was also at the 7 show, awesome concert. Also announced he'd be coming to the rodeo next year which is great news.

Did he officially announce he would be at the rodeo or just mention it because he was in Houston? That's how I took his "announcement"
