Would you go? If you have gone is it worth it? SO and her bestfriend wants to go this summer... debating if I should tag along or let them have a girls night.

Garth is the "Hank Williams" of our generation...end of story.
If I had a chance to go, I'd jump at the chance.

Went when he came to Nashville a few years ago. Great show and I'm not even a country fan.

The story of my life is comprised of two chapters: "Before the Garth Brooks Concert" and "After the Garth Brooks Concert". His performance transcends all other human experiences, you will be changed for ever in ways that you will fail to understand.

Of course. But for reference:

When it was announced he was coming to Atlanta, I was interested. I took a half-hearted shot at getting tickets, which sold out, and decided I definitely wasn't paying more than 100 bucks to see him at the time (per ticket).

When he announced a ton more shows in Atlanta, and tickets fell to like 12 dollars, I didn't hesitate. It was a good show, especially for so cheap.

Not really clear where you're from based on your name.. He's coming to Birmingham in June. Tickets sold out extremely quickly. His first 2 shows sold out in 2 minutes.. he then added a third show that sold out 3 minutes later.

I got tickets

They ended up with 4 tickets

That's good. I'm not really sure what happened on ticketmaster this morning.. I just put in Best Available and was happy when something popped up. I thought I'd be one of the first ones on since I was refreshing constantly from 9:58 on.. but some got floor and I'm 5th row in the stands.

I'd have no problem going to see Garth. Not my favorite country singer by a long shot, but the guy is certainly talented enough

I would go but I wouldn't pay a premium price for it. I like him enough just not one of those people I have to see.

145M records sold says I'm right!!!!

Garth Brooks is statistically the biggest-selling music artist in US history and overall third behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley. He’s the solo artist with the most diamond albums in RIAA’s history, with six of his albums achieving sales of over 10 million copies. As of now his albums continue to break records and according to Nielsen Soundscan, his albums sales up to 2014 are about 70 million, which makes him the best-selling artist in the United States since the advent of the SoundScan era (1991 to the present). Simply put, Garth is Country’s absolute king.

Word on the garth planet forums is that if you use the ticketmaster app you have a better chance. If he comes to br nola or Houston without a doubt I'll be there. Dude is an incredible entertainer

He's always been a great entertainer. I saw him at the La state fair in Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport in 1990 (if I remember right) and he was great. I hear he still puts on an incredible show.

If you can get 750,000 people to show up for your concert in Central Park you're probably pretty good at entertaining them

Saw him twice at LSU in the early/mid 90's. Great show, very good live. I would pay to see him again
