Came across this the other day. It's Garth's Demo tape from 1986 with him singing plenty of covers and a few of his originals way back before he moved to Nashville.

Good stuff. This is what I hoped the box collection he released not too long of him doing cover songs would be - acoustic and simple.

Yea he sang alot of these same covers in his vegas show. I agree and was hoping for a more stripped down musical version of his new album, but it was the oppsite of that.

I loved his version of The Piano Man

I like sme of Garth Brooks early stuff. Talented guy for sure.
