The Sun Giant EP and their first album were very good.
I don't think they are a band currently, read something about their singer decided to go back to college or something.

Well that's a goddamn shame. They were supposed to be a pretty impressive live show. I was really hoping to see them some day.

They aren't officially broken up or anything that I know of, maybe they will put out more stuff in the future.

I knew I'd just seen something about Robin in my newsfeed, so I went back and found the article:
Robin Pecknold scores off Broadway play.
The article also mentions some of the other projects he's been up to. You're probably aware, but Father John Misty (J. Tillman) was their drummer at one time as well. Very different sound, though.

I'm a huge fleet foxes fan. Their self titled and Helplessness Blues are both fantastic albums. I think my favorite song of theirs is Your Protector or Mykonos

If you like Fleet Foxes, chances are you'll like First Aid Kit, who are greatly influenced by them.
