Wonder what happened? I will miss their Daft Phunk shows.

We feel it is right that it will be at home in New Orleans as a part of the first festival we ever played. I really thought they were the next Bag of Donuts or Chee Weez. A band that would be around and having fun for a long time to come

That's not really a fair standard. 'Phunk was pretty good, but in the same rare air as BoD's? Chee Weez? Nah. Not on their best night.

Earphunk is so much better than CHee Weez and Bag of Donuts and it isn't even close.
These dudes actually make their own original music, are signed to a real world class label, and have had multiple nation wide tours.

They are highly respected in the funk world and also have electronic and jam band crossover appeal, and They have been big on the festival circuit for a while now.
Yeah the Daft Phunk tour definitely blew them up, but they've had a lot of success besides that.
