LINK

I am thinking about buying one. It has the same mellow tones I hear coming from Gibsons that sell (on sale) for $1,600-2,200. It is currently on sale at the G.C. for $569....it's usually around $650_700 on sale.

I read nothing but great reviews. Does anyone here have one?
Thanks!

I picked one up today. Sounded nice.

Not big boy Gibson nice, but not big boy Gibson price.

$650 ain't a little steep? I'm actually asking. Not crapping on that guitar. I did not pay attention to the materials.

No, $650 is a great price for that guitar. It's solid wood and comes with many bells and whistles. Check out the specs.

Haven't really heard a bad word about the Masterbilts.

I have yet to hear anything negative, but I would love to get the opinion of someone who has owned one for a year or more.

I have one of The Aj-500s,satin sunburst. have had it about 6 years.

Thing is super loud and the slightest brush over the strings sounds off,BIG.It's a big guitar though.

interesting thing about this guitar,it has a slight imperfection in the neck, like a knot, behind the third fret, I kind of like that.

I consider them in the same class as the Alvarez Yairi. You can't beat them for playing, for the price.

when I first got it and started playing it, I did have to adjust the action a couple of times.it finally settled in though I guess, and haven't needed to mess with it again.

The Masterbilts are all solid materials.

yeah, I'm not sure they are still making them, they are pretty much exact copies of The Gibson J-50,and a lot of people don't like the roundish shoulder guitar look.

I am not crazy about the way it looks either, but I don't think you can beat the sound for the price.

I am not a big fan of that shape, either, if I am thinking of the same thing...but I love the classic look of the DR-500mce.
