Ol' Dwight is playing at the Golden Nugget tonight. The wife and I are making the trip over with another TD'er. Seen him several times, looking forward to another good show.

Anyone else heading out to the Nugget tonight??

Come back after the show and tell us how it was.

Going to see him next weekend at The Orpheum in NOLA.

I'm hoping for some redemption at this show. Saw Dwight a few years ago on his last stop of the tour and he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Saw him in Lake Charles 8-9 years ago and he rocked out. Looking forward to a good time tonight.

Show wasn't bad, it was supposed to start at 8:30 and he finally came onstage at 8:55. Played one song right after another never stopping in between. I've seen him before and that is his MO. Played lots of hits and a few new songs. He walked off stage after one hour then came right back for an encore with a Beatles cover then walked off again. Came back for second encore with Suspicious Minds. Total concert time was 1:15. We were all pretty confused as to why it wasn't longer. He has 30 years of hits that could fill 3 hours but he didn't make it a second past 1:15. The crowd was into it and he seemed to be having a good time but no rhyme or reason why it was so short. I would give it a 6/10

Which Beatles song did he cover? For what he charges for a show that's pretty much chicken shite that he played one set. That's like 15 - 18 songs.

He covered "I Feel Fine"
I would imagine the casino probably puts a max time limit on the show so they can get the crowd back on the casino floor. It was prob about 16-18 songs. I looked up prior setlists and a couple weeks ago he played a theatre in Pennsylvania and played 30 songs. I hope the NO show is better for the folks who will be attending that one.
