rarely have I seen a merch table t shirt I would actually wear. Usually they are ugly (or black). I do try to grab a bandanna or sticker or something. Billy strings is an exception to that his shirts are usually pretty cool, but there’s always better stuff out in the lot

I have a closet full of posters still in cardboard tubes

Im not some nerd that goes in as soon as the doors open to get a poster, I hate dealing with it during the show.
same
those poster people are really weird

I did pay an eBay premium for a hatch print from the Ryman Billy strings show that we went to. It was worth it not having to deal with the poster during the show

$40 for a shirt of a band or artist I really like, maybe. But now tribute bands are selling shirts. I do not want a tribute-shirt.

Small bar local shows, yes. I support local bands as much as possible.

Big venue mainstream bands, it depends on the amount of alcohol consumed.

Most artists sell band posters after the show on their websites. Thats what I usually do for Ween posters because they frequently sell out at the shows.

If I know my money is actually helping the band stay on the road and keep performing, yes.

Huge shows at arenas or stadiums, nah.

I usually grab a vinyl or something.

Shows don't really make musicians a ton of money, the merch is a huge part of sustaining
