Is this the best album of the last 5 years?

I mean, I can listen to it all the way through without ever having the unction to hit next. Last album I could do that' with was strokes angles.

It's not my favorite of the past five years (or even last year), but it is really really good. And it is my favorite Tame Impala album. Let it Happen is such a great opener.

Yes I'm changing.... Man that hits home with a 30 something. Lonerism was always very to close to my heart, and is my favorite of his on a nostalgic level. But, you listen to the details on currents and it is truly great.

What was your favorite album last year out of curiously ? I will check it out for sure

Sufjan Stevens- Carrie and Lowell

Totally different than Currents, but it is a masterpiece IMO.

Agreed. I have some others from the last few years that I can do this with. But Currents is an amazing album. Perfect for vinyl.

Listened to it multiple times since this thread. John my Beloved is a truly gut wrenching and reality checking song. Thank you for sharing this beautiful song/album. Jesus, the whole album is so deep.

Flying from Houston Tuesday to see them Wednesday night at Red Rocks in Colorado. Looking forward to this show especially since it is not in a festival setting that they commonly play.

Awesome, glad to hear you like it. It is pretty deep. It is about his mother's (who he had a complicated relationship with) passing.
