They aren't the same without Paul Sanchez

I've been a fan since '91 and I agree that Paul brought a different kind of understated soul to the band. Fred is great but Paul is definitely missed

Agree about Sanchez. Looking forward to it, my wife has never seen them live so i'm looking forward to witnessing a CM virgin.

We had them at ATO house at USM for homecoming '92 I believe. My friends still talk about that night, great memories. They certainly know how to play to an audience

Just checking in to blame all of you for the existence of this band. Best Voodoo Fest memory was thousands of people telling them to "shut the frick up" in unison.

Sounds like a classic story from a festival full of douchebags.

That was 23 years ago. Shouldn't they have outgrown fraternity age audiences in the more than a lifetime of the current fraternity members that has transpired? Some memories aren't really worth re-living, and seeing Cowboy Mouth, or Dash Rip Rock, aren't high on my list. They'd just make me sad..

Well, you can only hears a kick thumped incessantly for so long before it gets annoying. In fairness, though, whoever put those clowns between QOTSA and NIN set them up for it. You can't put that kind of mindless junk between two fantastic bands and expect it to go over well.

I would pay money to see an audience hold Fred LeBlanc down and stuff a sock in his cowboy mouth. What an obnoxious blowhard. He's like Matt Foley except less tolerable and in shittier physical condition.
