Titled "Nothing Can Hurt Me." No national distributor has picked it up yet, but it has been screened at several festivals and has received great reviews.

Super thup, mane.

Wow, I´ve seen ALOT of clips from this. They´ve been obviously filtering it for years. Didn´t this have budget and funding problems mid project?

´if Dylan only sold 100,000 records, he´d still be Dylan´.

This is a great way to preface this band.

I love the fact they essentially made a movie about Replacements fans. Is it true there's no footage of the band anywhere in the film?

(Since it's an Xmas gift, I will not watch until Xmas)

Is there any existing performance footage of the original Big Star?

Needed $ for the rights.

"Let it Be" only sold 12,000 copies. Currently my favorite album of the 1980s.

Let It Be sold 250,000 copies. Though, most of those were after they broke up.

Here's a good article on Bob Stinson and Paul Westerberg, if y'all are interested. Poor Bob.

Right. I meant 12,000 upon initial
Release.

Re in it. Lot of the folks seem like avid fans. Kick starter?

I´m probably one of a handful on this board who has seen them live (albeit for just short of three songs).

Nice. I remember when I first found out about the Replacements, you couldn't find any studio quality songs because supposedly Westerberg didn't allow them on youtube or something to that effect. Maybe it was the record company. So I wasn't surprised there was no interviews or even music in the video.

Not really. I never got a chance again. I can´t say they were sounding great before the shite hit the fan, but, everyone always says they ´ramp up´or ´purge´and improve, in many shows.

This one started poorly, Bob was sitting in the crowd and had to be called up to the stage to begin the show, and they proceeded to sound horrendous.

They then went into a Keystone Kops type fight, the curtains were drawn, and that was it. They didn´t even finish their third song.

I believe we got our money back, but I was really, really bummed out.
