Just listening to it again and not sure I've seen this particular album noted on this board much. fricking incredible. And if it has been noted... Oh well, noting it again.

Elephant Riders brings me back to the 90s. I remember first hearing it and thinking "wtf is this shite?" It was a new sound. I didn't like it much at first but it grew on me.
I prefer Robot Hive or Blast Tyrant.

All their albums are solid. Electric Worry is probably my favorite song of theirs.
They are great live too if you get a chance to see them.

Clutch is awesome
Impetus and Pitchfork & Lost Needles are also good albums. They have a new album coming out in the next month or two, if i remember correctly

YEP!!! Been lucky enough to see them twice here in Jax Beach. April 2011 and January 2014. Perfect venue for them too...
Freebird Live
Capacity 700 with wraparound balcony. Super intimate, just like you want for a Clutch show.

I saw them at Bonnaroo in 2007 and then they played here in Birmingham last September. I'm always surprised they aren't bigger than they are, and really surprised I never hear them on any rock station on the radio.

Yeah you would think they would be. But I actually prefer it this way because if they were bigger I would have to see them at a bigger venue than Freebird. MUCH prefer the smaller club shows, especially for a group like Clutch.

I looked on pro-rock and didn't see anything about that. I hope you're correct though. I've been figuring it would be awhile still since it's been "only" two years or so since Earth Rocker and it seems like they've been touring that whole time.

New album comes out third week of September according to Neil. Its called Psychic Warfare and will be similar to Earth Rocker but a little heavier.

SWEET!!! Had not heard. Thanks for the info.
I DID see a reference on pro-rock to Psychic Warfare. Just didn't catch that it's a new album.
Yeah that's right. Just looked again and it's the name of the upcoming leg of their tour. Awesome!!
Looks like they might possibly be using the Classic logo for it too. Hope so. I want a shirt with that one on it.

I drove from Clinton to Dallas to see Orange Goblin and Clutch, and it was worth every mile.
Then I got to see 'em with The Sword in N.O.
It really doesn't get much better than that.
Other than about two songs, Earth Rocker really didn't blow me away, but every band has it's hits and misses. I'm still really looking forward to the new one.

Would LOVE to see Orange Goblin but have not been that lucky yet. I DID get to see The Sword open for them a year and a half ago though. Outstanding.
