Was there. Enjoyed it.
Marty Stuart introduced his band members as being from Turkey Creek, Mamou, and Thibodaux. Of course, they each got a big cheer. Turns out he was screwing with us. Not a damn one of them is from LA.

Going to the show in Austin on Thursday. How were Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb? Worth showing up for their opening acts?

Cobb was just average new country to me. Not bad, but nothing special.
Marty Stuart I enjoyed, but I’m a big fan of him and his band from watching his TV show. They played a good variety of material, and each band member got a turn up front. I missed their show at a casino a few months ago, but I hope to catch them as headliners one day.
Let us know if Marty introduces the band members as being from small towns in Texas.
