This is the album I've looked forward to the most so far this year, and it has met expectations. Getting great critical reviews so far as well (87 on metacritic). Anyone that likes alt/indie rock should check it out.

CSH- Fill in the Blank

CSH- Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales

Likely my AOTY (thus far at least), anyone else enjoying this one?

The album is damned good. Shame it's going to lose the record label money due to the sampling fiasco.

Plus I think the original track with the sample was a little better. I don't really get why The Car's guy denied the sample. I mean it's his song, his right, but still seems kind of dickish in this situation.

Yes sir, been listening to this pretty much non-stop. Most definitely my frontrunner for aoty at this time.

Also really liking the new So So Glos album.

Def think there are some worthy candidates for Song of the Year on this album but think the album lacks the consistency and strength for album of the year.

I rode the All Songs Considered hype and listened to the album fist drunk and thought it was amazing. Listened the next week a few times sober and it too sobered a bit for me. But there is no doubt, its a great listen.

Low fi, post punk is not for everyone but i think even the casual listener can find some tracks they can really get into. I think Cloud Nothings are a leg up but gotta love the diy / Daniel Johnston influence

I've heard the first track on the radio a few times but haven't listened to the album. I like the first track, but I'm not sure how much staying power it has. I'll give the full album a listen. Thanks for posting!

I don't understand Ocasik's position here. I remember back in the 90's there was this Christian band called Ghoti Hook who recorded a cover of Just What I Needed for their one of their albums, and apparently it was ok? This seems petty to me.

Thanks for the heads-up on these guys. Just had a chance to listen all the way through and these guys kick arse. Really original, yet I still hear some Ramones, Kinks, Bob Mould, and some other stuff all mixed in.

I like it but not really groundbreaking. Reminds me of 90s stuff like Pavement.
