She's been sort of a middling thing for over a decade.

She was part of that girl power "Highwomen" country supergroup right before COVID hit.

I wasn't super aware of her before that, but she's grown, she's 40. ( )

Google her performance at the Grammy awards from a couple of years ago. She performed The Joke. It was fantastic.

I saw her at the Sea Hear Now Festival in 2018 and have followed her since

I've never heard her music but her politics seem to get her a lot of press.

I think that I'd like these girl power "Highwaywomen" about as much as I like Bro Country...which is "not at all".

She has some pretty great solo albums that go back about 10 years or so.

“The Story” is probably her best song, however I prefer the version done by Jessie Pitts on The Voice in 2014

Fair enough but YouTube them doing The Chain. It’s pretty damned good.

If you hate Fleetwood Mac too though? Disregard.

Your loss. The Highwomen are to Bro Country as Al Green is to Mumble Rap.

I haven't listened to her much either, but did hear a pretty good cover of Folsom Prison Blues by her on one of the SiruisXM channels the other day.

She sells out multi-day stints at red Rocks. She is a thing.

Not really. If I'm going to listen to country music(hardly ever do), it's going to be from 1980 or earlier. I haven't liked much of anything from Garth Brooks forward.

I don't think she's made a bad album. This latest album may be her best yet. She may have the perfect female voice for my tastes, so deep, rich, and versatile. And her songwriting partnership with those twins in her band is pretty strong. I saw her live a few years ago and would love to see her again.
