The best ones are the ones that pay the musicians the most... but unfortunately, they are a little more expensive

(my answer is Tidal or Google Play Music - the later of which comes with Youtube RED)

Looks like the $3.99 Slacker plan gets you pandora-style stations with unlimited skips, but you can't play particular songs or albums on demand. I have used the basic free Slacker some and been fairly pleased with it for what it offers. I prefer it to Pandora.

Spotify premium costs about $10 a month, but you can play anything they have (and they have most stuff) whenever you want. That's what I use now 95% of the time.

It looks like Slacker now offers a play-on-demand plan too, but it costs the same as Spotify: $10 a month. No experience with it.

never heard of slacker, but I have spotify and it's the shiz. You can sign up now and get the first 3 months at 99cents per month, then it goes up to 10 after that.

I would pay 20 a month for it. I always have random songs that pop in my head and now that I have spotify I can just surf it and bam, it's there. I'm all about the instant gratification

I got Spotify as well. Have about 15 play lists by genre. 1850 songs so far. My goal is 5000.

Let's put it this way, I know literally zero people who have Slacker or have even heard of it, and many, MANY people who have Spotify and rave about it, including myself.

Spotify. I have rhapsody though. I would make the switch but I've got too many songs/playlists to make the switch. I need to just go ahead and bit the the bullet and make the switch though

Rhapsody isn't bad though
