One of the better festivals in the city. George Porter Jr. and Anders were yesterday.

I doubt it will stay free for much longer.

Saw 2 acts on Sat - Debbie Davis & The mesmerizers (a personal favorite) and the Lost Bayou Ramblers (Spider Stacey sat in for a few songs). IMO, its surpassing JF as the best Fest in NO.

It was fun, but you can't really compare this to jazz fest.

I was in New Orleans for a bachelor party, and me and another friend that was in our group defected and checked out Irma Thomas on Saturday afternoon. Was incredible. 75 years old and still gettin' down. Love her.

it was awesome. Probably my favorite part is seeing all of the boats and other floating apparatuses in the water.

I loved seeing those. We walked over from Bayou Beer Garden to see GPJ. Once he ended we walked up to the railing and stood there for an hour waiting on Anders. It was awesome. We were on the rail for Anders and he killed it.

I was out there on a boat yesterday and it was an awesome time. Would be awesome if there were other festivals/events along the bayou that got people out there like that.

Granted, I was only there for a couple of hours, but it wasn't overcrowded at all for Irma.

Was there all day Saturday and never had an issue with beer or bathroom lines.
