Was gifted an old Kay banjo that is in a state of disrepair. Needs a tune up, set up, and a new bridge. Anyone you guys could recommend to do that work in NOLA?

Thanks in advance.

Not in NOLA, but if you have a connection to Birmingham, Bob Tedrow does a fine job down the street from me at Homewood Music.

You can learn how to do anything yourself on the Internet. For example, I searched for banjo repair kit, and I immediately found this.

Just take it to Nashville if you really want it repaired.

There's a guy right by Old Metairie Village on Focis that might be able to help. Next to JB's bar. Good luck.
