Bad Singers That Fit Their Band’s Sound

So when we think of singers, especially in rock music, most of us probably think of the greats first. Freddie Mercury. Paul Rodgers. Gregg Allman.
My question today for you is which singers do you feel like, although most would not consider them a naturally talented or good singer, actually is a perfect fit for their band? The singer could even be described as terrible, yet something about them meshes with their band’s sound and passes for good.
I’ll start with an example. Stephen Pearcy from RATT. Most people would listen to him and probably would not be blown away by his vocal ability. Yet, when he sings with RATT, his voice fits. He has that sleazy, raspy voice that is made for 80’s hard rock. Just don’t expect any soaring vocals found in ballads, there’s a reason RATT didn’t really do ballads lol.
So who ya got?

James Hetfield
See, I feel like Hetfield is actually a decent singer, whether he played for Metallica or not. Sure, he is perfect for them, but I feel like he could be a solo artist and still be a good singer.
