I am trying to make the Sunday of weekend 1 of this years ACL...the individual day tickets haven't gone on sale yet.
When should they be available?
How much are the 1 day tix?
Do they sell out fast?

Sign up for ACL's email list and you will know when they go on sale. I don't think they typically sell out fast.
And honestly, Sunday's the easiest day to get tickets on craigslist for cheap. Especially since the festival's moved to a two weekend format. I've got tickets for half price off of craigslist several times. But, buying from ACL gives you more piece of mind and less risk.
I think they go for around $100 these days for single day. Used to be about $80.

There are always people selling extra tickets outside the gates on the day of too. Of course you are chancing it if you're coming in from out of town without definite tickets, but I've never failed to see sellers outside the park.
The group of people I go with had extra tickets for each day last year that they sold for half price before walking in the gates. I'd hit you up if I knew for sure that we'd have extra again this year, but we literally won't know until the weekend of.

Where would be the best place to look for weekend 1 tickets?
I've seen some on StubHub, with an increased price. But how does that work with a wrist band? If I purchase the ticket will it be mailed to me with wristbands?
Any other options for this?

If you are willing to risk it, wait until the week of and buy on Craigslist or Stubhub. The price usually goes down because scalpers over-estimate demand to attend a festival that has two full weekends as options to attend, plus single day passes.

But how does the wrist band situation work out with stubhub?

You guys all use hotels or go with airbnb?
Booked a house, but still want to keep options open. Hotels seem absolutely outrageous

The same as a physical ticket, but with the wristband instead. I'll assume you just get it mailed from the original buyer.
