Perfect late night album. Maybe my favorite of all the Dulli side projects if you want to call it that. This album just embodies New Orleans in every way.

Wow man! Nice! What took you so long to chime in?
Beautiful display of a bunch of classic gear...glad to see you are jumping in here!
Mapleshade rack or self made? Looks great.

When I finally get set up this will be my first official record purchase.

I have no excuse. I've been reading the thread since the beginning and just never joined in...The rack is a homemade flexy rack. Just some threaded rods, spare lumber, sorbothan rings and some nuts and bolts. The MC2505 is powering the Martin Logan's and Ar-2a's. The Dynaco is with the KLH Twelves...My main turntable is a Basis 1400 with a Benz Ace. Also have some Meridian M-10's in my workshop. Need a bigger main room...

Here's a better picture of the whole rig. Using my Thorens 125 tonight for one of my favorite albums. Super Furry Animals - Rings Around the World
Desperately in need of some cable management...I've been rotating stuff in and out of this system and haven't quite settled on everything yet...Hoping to get to fixing all of the cables up later this week.

Lol...It's a 10 dollar shadowbox, some sticky stencil paper, spray paint and an LED strip...glad it fooled you, though!

Starting early this evening...
Seeing them live the other night made me drag this gem out...
The Cure--"Connect the Dots...B-Sides and rarities 1978-2001 (The Fiction Years)"
4 CD booklet with 70 tracks. There is a 75 page booklet inside that gives a good insight to the early years and how all these songs came to be.
For a Cure fan, this is a great compilation of the B-sides as you would have to go hard core vinyl hunting for a few years to amass their entire singles library.
I have posted the pics in Hi-Rez so you can zoom in on the track listing and read if you so desire.

Marco -- any pics of your record storage? Looking to build something -- saw this on reddit and really liked, but might be more than I can bite off.

Would love to see your record storage, too! Here's my first one for the night. Let me know if my pic resolution is too much. Still figuring this out..

Here is part of the current storage. It is a Boltz steel rack with 5 tiers. These are the LPs that are newer pressings and are in regular rotation.
I have another couple thousand that are upstairs in boxes that I just don't have the room to move down yet. Many of those are cheaper LPs that I just aquired over the years or people have given to me. I honestly have forgotten what is actually in that lot--mainly '60's and '70's Rock/pop.
Hopefully in the next year, I will build (not me, but a carpenter ) a set of 3 double door cabinets, like the ones commonly seen below the counter in a kitchen, that will sit on the floor and go to waist high. Then I will have 6 shelves, with upright supports every 18", each 8' across atop those cabinets. This storage system will go from the floor to the ceiling. The cabinets will give me the storage for all the other audio paraphanalia--record cleaners, brushes, tubes, cables, etc. It will be on the wall with the posters in the pic. I have a pretty good idea of what I want, I just need to make it happen.
I also have a couple thousand 45's that are in fantastic condition that date back to 1955--my dad's collection. He is an audiophile/music lover as well. I inherited most of his 45's after Katrina. Those will eventually go in the cabinets on slide out shelves.
Here is the Boltz rack...
This is a small office off the den where I keep the newer vinyl.
More newly added on the floor that need to be added to the mix--no more room!
CDs are in a converted closet. I built the shelves in here.
It actually goes a couple feet more to the left of the door jamb...

I love that brochure. If they print it, it must be true, right? Even with new caps, it's a pretty noisy preamp, but really dynamic. I still enjoy it. Have it hooked up to my Meridian M10's. I've always struggled with those speakers being really tiring, but the C24 tames that harshness a bit.

These two are getting recapped next month (or as soon as I can get Richard Gray to do it). They work, but are starting to sound pretty harsh.
