I guess he is going to be switching it up every year. Jackie Greene is probably the most interesting, but whatever I'm just ready to see AOB again.

I'm not a huge Jackie Green fan(although I am somewhat ignorant of his work), but Sam Bush is an incredible guest.

JJ Grey is solid too.

John Popper is who he is, but his ripping harmonica will make for some good, fun collaboration.

Definitely wanna make at least one of the shows.

Interesting guests. John Popper could be a great addition if the harmonica isn't over done. Sam Bush should add a nice touch too. It'll be nice hearing some standard Anders tunes with those guys on them.

I'm sure some great local musicians are included in the "+MANY MORE!".

No love for sam bush?

Think he's the most interesting name on the list.

Eh Jackie

I'm indifferent when it comes to JJ Grey, but the rest looks fricking awesome!

We're going to get some great covers with Jackie Green.

John Popper is so impressive to see live up close.

Sam Bush is one of my personal favorite musicians alive right now; so versatile and talented.

Jackie Greene

I won't be able to make it to Louisiana for this one, but he's one of my favorite musicians and someone all y'all should know.

Here's a Spotify playlist with my 25 favorite Jackie Greene songs:

After about one song, im over his high pitched wailing.

Sam bush should be interesting, by far the most intriguing guest imo.

Ive never really been a jj grey fan, i kinda find his music boring.

I like jackie greene a lot, and hes an extremely versatile musician, i guess i would rather see a gun slinger as an extra guitarist than a singer-song writer type.

Should still be a great weekend regardless because anders rocks.

Anders is definitely top billing on there. Not much interest in the guest acts.

Really? Sam Bush is the complete highlight of the show imo. JJ Grey is pretty good and I can see him and Anders having fun together. I don't know much about Jackie Greene other than he looks like Ryan Bingham and has played with The Black Crowes.

I really hope you'll give his music a chance and check out some of his solo work. Here's a 25 song Spotify playlist of my favorite Jackie Greene songs.

From his Wiki page:
quote:

Greene has toured nationally with Gov't Mule, Los Lobos, Mark Knopfler, B.B. King, Phil Lesh, Ratdog, Huey Lewis, Susan Tedeschi, Taj Mahal, and Buddy Guy

I saw him perform with Phil Lesh and Friends doing all the Dead songs and such, but I've been itching to see him solo for a good long while now.

If you have tickets to this show — and even if you don't know a single Jackie Greene song — I really encourage you to catch his performance.
