Zoolander sucks

I watched it for the first time yesterday. Me and my SO went over to her friends house, and we decided to watch a movie.
She asks if we have ever seen zoolander, and we say no, although we've both heard so much about it.
The whole thing became an awkward situaion of both of us faking laughs at the cheesy arse jokes, while trying not to hurt her feelings as it was "one of her favorite movies of all time"
Anyone else feel Zoolander is over rated simpleton humor?

It's certainly not a great movie, but it's the small, quotable moments that make it. Just to name a few:
-A center for ants?!
-You can read minds?
-Earth to Matilda scene
-Listen to your friend Billy Zane.. he's a cool dude
-Are you not aware that I get farty and bloated with a foamy latte?

Every time I saw somebody say that they liked it, I just always assumed they meant they sarcastically liked it. Like ironically, like is the thing with millennials these days. Because I just assumed nobody seriously liked that movie

That movie is hilarious. Is it legendary or award worthy? No, but my gosh it's glorious.
His magnum look just makes me laugh my arse off. The fact all the looks are exactly the same and they make so much fun of the modeling industry just makes me giggle
