Look I am as big a comic book fan as anyone else on this board, but let's not act like Mary Jane is some huge icon. She is known for being Spider-Man's chick and that is about it. I do agree that she has always been a red head, not a ginger though...

Look they have shite the bed with every Mary Jane Watson casting that wasn't animated, so I am willing to give her a chance. I mean this is 2016, ultimately Mary Jane should be no more then a minor character anyway, how upset should we really be? If Mary Jane is getting major screen time in this film then we have a bigger problem then her race.

People really need to calm down over this shite. I mean Angelina Jolie has played several women of ethnicity over the years, including Fox from "Wanted" who was very much so black and yet no outrage. Remember when everybody was pissed at Tom Holland being cast, and how horrible it was? Now everyone is praising him. Climb off the damn ledge and let it play out people.
