The movie was terrible, the book was pretty fascinating, but then again, I'm a sucker for character development.

Count of Monte Cristo. Doesn't get much love but is a great movie, rewatchable many many times.

True Romance.

I know its not underrated on the OT because many of the younger folks follow those kinds of movies.

However the masses at large have no knowlege of that movie. Perhaps one of the greatest ensembles of all time.

I agree that this is a fantastic movie but I was under the impression that it got a lot of deserved credit.

Some good choices on this thread (especially Sneakers), but to throw out another one: Aliens3. I think it might be the best of the trilogy, yet it is commonly remembered as a terrible movie. I love the whole thing, and it really is wonderfully shot.

It's just so damn depressing.

You can almost put anything with Robert Carlisle on this list. Guy Pearce too.

Some great movies on here so far. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Sneakers, and Count of Monte Cristo are some favorites.

Another movie I never see mentioned by anyone but me is King of New York with Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne, Wesley Snipes, etc.
