Yeah, that finale was pretty damn perfect if you ask me.

My least favorite recently was Dexter.

Breaking bad has to be up there as a favorite.

Put me down for Six Feet Under as well. Just the perfect way to finish that series.

I am half way through the next to last episode and stopped watching it because I knew it was going to piss me off.

Just kidding! Seriously, I really liked Cheers' ending.

Wow. Really?

I'm not hating at all. That was by far the strangest series finale I've ever seen. I thought maybe it was because I was younger, but I went back and watched it last year again after reading about it on a thread here. Wow. Kinda cheapens the whole series for me.

I loved the series finale of The Office. It was perfect. I'm kinda partial to Cheers too.

Star Trek: TNG.

It was just a fun way to send off these characters. A fun space adventure.

I hated this show. Hated it. Never thought it was funny. I did catch the finale though; hippy enviromental nonsense. What a horrible, horrible way to end a show.

Friends. Because it ended the way we all wanted it to end. And when they put their keys on the counter in Monica's apartment and fade to black on the frame around the eyehole in the door was a nice touch.

these answers are pretty great.

i wasn't even a die hard fan of st elsewhere. i watched it enough to know what was going on (i was young too) and though the premise would be played out now, it wasn't back then.

same with six feet under, wasn't a massive fan of the show. probably didn't see every episode but kinda knew what was going on. loved the finale.

i was a pretty massive fan of breaking bad, i like the ending but would agree with anyone who said it ended a little too perfectly. i have counter points to that but that's for another thread.

In these threads, I always see this show the most. I watched the 1st season way back when it started, but didn't finish. Can't remember exactly why anymore. Anyway, would I need to watch the whole series to really enjoy the series finale, or could I watch last season?

I thought the last ten minutes or so of the 6FU finale were amazing, and those are literally the only minutes of the show I've ever seen. Just such a cool way to end a show.

My favorites:

Lost. I know it gets hated on by a lot of people, but I fricking loved it. Great ending to one of my favorite shows of all time.

The Wire. That final montage is just so awesome...from seeing certain characters have happy endings to see others have sad ones. Just a great wrap up to the single best TV show I've ever seen.

Breaking Bad. One of the most solid finales of all time. Did a great job of wrapping up the plot points created in the last few episodes, as well as giving us a great end to WW's legacy (even though you knew how it would end for Walt, it was still fitting and perfect how it played out).

Fresh Prince. I thought this was a very well-done finale for a sitcom. Very funny and heartwarming at the same time. Was pretty awesome seeing that Will finally had that strong father figure he always wanted/needed. Uncle Phil telling him "I don't care what anybody says...you are my son." is just pure fricking awesomeness.

Friends. Great finale. I actually watched it the other day. From Ross/Rachel's "I got off the plane" to all of them having keys to the apartment. Seeing Friends here and there in syndication, that was a really good show (and a great one for a while).

Cheers. "Sorry; we're closed." Perfect ending to one of the most consistently funny shows ever.

Freaks and Geeks. Great ending to a fantastic show. Daniel and the geeks playing D&D, Lindsey leaving to follow TGD. Etc. Always wished this show would've continued on, but in a weird way, it's just such a perfect show as it stands.

the last 15 minutes ruined the entire series for me.
