I'm a little behind in recent horror movies but It Follows and The Witch were both great. I wanna see The Conjuring, The Babadook, and Cabin in the Woods.

The first Insidious was pretty good, Oculus was different and entertaining, and Sinister was underrated IMO.

Conjuring is probably the best out of the 3 you listed. Babadook was ok but wouldn't watch again and Cabin had a cool twist but was not scary in the slightest.

Y'all thought The Conjuring was that good? I liked it and I liked the acting, but I thought it got less spooky as I kept watching. Once I saw the ghost or whatever and once it took over the mom, it lost all it's eerieness.

I've never seen The Grudge, but I've always been spooked by the previews. I might try it.

Nah but I thought it was better than Babadook and Cabin in the woods.

I can promise you The Grudge is not scary at all. It's about as scary as The Ring is, which isn't much.

Man, I love the Conjuring. That hide and clap scene is perfect horror movie making.

The sacrament

This is the only movie that's really made me feel uncomfortable days after watching. And this is after I've watched the conjuring, sinister, the Halloween remakes, etc.

The Ring

That movie still creeps me out. I saw it the night it was released in an old theater that was about to get closed down....it made it all the more scary.

*SPOILER*

When she came through the tv screen at the end, I'm still not sure how I didn't jump out of my seat that was half broken.
