Napoleon Dynamite is on Encore right now for anyone interested. I haven't seen it in years and it's still got me laughing like a moron. Uncle Rico is far and away my favorite character in the movie.

I like the movie. I find it charming. It's not generally laugh-out-loud funny, but it has a sort of timeless quirkiness that reminds me of a skewed perspective on growing up in small-town South. Even if it does take place in one of the fly-overs. (Idaho, right?) There's very little plot to speak of, but anyone growing up in small-town South knows that also has very little plot to speak of.

It's a throwback to 80s coming of age comedies.. Similar to Weird science and 16 candles. But more quirky.
