My wife did this last night with this movie:

Trading Mom

Not only did it not hold up from our youth, but it's one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Evidently it is based on a novel called The Mummy (Mommy) Market. I know it's for kids, but frick is this thing bad.

Whenever I watch movies from my childhood, they're never as good as they once were. (Except for Pixar Movies)

Watching Independence Day in 2015, that movie is corny as hell.

Nope, when I was a kid I only watched badass movies like Excalibur, Time Bandits, and The Goonies.

Some Disney movies - Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan. Lots of little things just bugged me about those. Like how awful the parents in Peter Pan were and how douchey Peter Pan and Tinkerbell were.

Sword in the Stone used to be one of my favorites but rewatched it a few months ago and it was just boring. Nothing really happened.

It's one of the dumbest big budget movies ever made. The fact that it went from being a laughable POS to being loved by millenials might be evidence of the dumbing down of humanity.

Meh, Mortal Kombat wasn't terrible. Even now, it's not THAT bad for a video game movie.

Now Mortal Kombat 2 may be one of the worst movies ever, though.
