That's old news huh? I remember an article where he said there needed to be more minority women on the show and then along came chewbacca some time later.

BTW, SNL now does minority/gender specific casting calls. They'll ask for African-American-Female showcase nights at clubs.

Keenan also said he was sick of playing women and wasn't going to do it anymore. I don't want to say that's a reason why they hired her and Sasheer because that's stupid, but it played a part.
