Ah, an honest one, eh? Rare.

My only question is this: is it possible to be biased, to even disagree, but remain civil? No name-calling, no put-downs, none of that? I know... this is the Rant movie board and all, but still... it gets old.

It's on Netflix. Remember it hits it's stride in season 3.

Hmmm. I tried Fringe back when it came out but I really didn't like it.

I think that had to do with John Noble and his portrayal of Denethor. He did such a good job with Denethor that I hated Noble.

I've been bored to tears lately. I've rewatched Scrubs, West Wing, Deadwood, Battlestar, Rome and a few other shows.

So.... I'm giving Fringe another shot.

I have to admit I am loving it this time. Through 8 episodes I am liking it much more this time. Even Noble.

No trolling. I stated I hated him because he did such a good job as Denethor.

Heck, millenium was better than fringe.

I love all three shows, but I would put them in this order:

1) Millennium
2) Fringe
3) X-Files

All three shows were extremely well written and did a great job of casting.

To me, there aren't many performances by an actor in television history better than Lance Henriksen as Frank Black. It's a shame they cancelled it after season two and then changed their mind which gave the viewers a subpar (although still good) season 3 in relation to the other two.

The cast of Fringe is great and probably the best overall cast of the three. John Noble as Walter Bishop is such a unique character and they did so much with him.

X-files was very good and Scully and Mulder were quite the duo, but I never felt the bond with those two characters that I did with the other two shows.

Ha. I was joking a bit about Millenium although I did really like the show. Frank Black was a great character.

I was going to say I love that there aren't any skeptical scully characters or episodes. Until episode 11. First episode I actually hate.

Oh wait. the thing bursting out of the guys mouth might redeem the episode.

Episode redeemed. I hate the new government guy but the overall story arc was interesting.

kinda like how LOST went a few to many seasons as well, if it sells - they sell it, even if they run out of material.

What? The last 3 seasons of Lost are incredible.

Every second with Harris on the screen is painful. I was actually enjoying that Fringe didn't have the skeptical assclown.
